Directions and Map

The Diagnostic Center, Southern California is located at 4339 State University Drive in Los Angeles, California 90032. We are adjacent to California State University, Los Angeles. Our building is near the interchange of the San Bernardino freeway (I-10) and the Long Beach freeway (I-710).

From the West:

Exit the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) at Eastern Avenue. Turn left at the end of the freeway onto Eastern Avenue. Proceed across the freeway and make the first right onto State University Drive. You will see a large sign, "Diagnostic Center" on the left. Make an immediate left turn into the driveway. Park on the upper level and go into the administration building.

From the East:

Exit the San Bernardino freeway (I-10) at Eastern Avenue. Go straight through the intersection at the top of the off ramp and make a right turn into the first driveway. You will see a large sign, "Diagnostic Center" on the right. Make an immediate right turn into the driveway. Park on the upper level and go into the administration building.

From the South:

Exit the Long Beach freeway (I-710) at Ramona. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. At the light (Ramona) turn left, proceed to the third light (Campus Road) and turn right to cross over the freeway. The next street will be State University Drive. Turn left on State University Drive and make a right into the Center's driveway.

COVID-19 Read about our services...

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Diagnostic Center, Southern California is not currently providing Center or Field-based assessment services. We are, however, accepting referral applications and providing services based on a service delivery model aligned with current public health agencies and the California Department of Education guidance. All referral applications and requests for assessment are evaluated on a case by case basis and any services rendered by the Diagnostic Center, Southern California are individually designed to address referral questions and concerns. As the situation with COVID-19 evolves we will continue to adjust our service delivery model to ensure the safety of staff, students, and the families we serve.
